And … when your beloved pet is nearing the end of life, Brenda is there for you too. After spending many many years in the helping professions prior, Brenda is able to handle all the emotions related to grief, loss and sadness. Sometimes owning a pet can be heartbreaking. Brenda Johima will gently and privately capture the last moments with your pet.
Brenda Johima is here to help. She’s a dog and puppy photographer, currently based in paradise, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. She’s mobile, will come to you to photograph your dog(s) on location (almost) anywhere.
She’s known to be gentle and loving with dogs, able to gain a trusting relationship quickly with your dog, as that’s key to capturing emotion and personality in pet images. Sessions are never forced and your dog always comes first.

In addition to her gift with dogs, Brenda holds a diploma in fine art and design, and ran a home-based graphic design business for over 10 years. How Much?
Canine photo sessions are priced individually by telephone and followed up with an in-person written and email confirmation of our agreement. Travel costs may or may not be included. Let’s Talk !
I also have a special 1/2 day and full day rate for special projects, end of life sessions and events (things like agility, dog shows, dock diving and water dogs). Please ask.
