Inspired By Linda Dessau and Remembering Chyna

I met Linda Dessau on Twitter, and like most people on Twitter, we may never meet in person.

I hope we do one day, but if not, it always touches me, with some special people online, the bond you can feel through the internet, when people speak their truth, and have the courage to share their truth online. Linda has done, just that.

Linda and I have in common, Music Therapy. I graduated in 1987, in completing my (the highest level of training you could get in Canada at that time) training as a Music Therapist.

Linda, according to her websites, took her music therapy training to a higher level, which was not available in Canada when I trained. Not only is Linda an accredited Music Therapist with the Canadian Association for Music Therapy, but she is also a Professional Coach and writer, helping people achieve greater success online.

What touched me today, even more than all of the above, is Linda’s story of recently losing her beloved greyhound, and how she made an online memorial to remember Chyna.

Have a look on her Remembering Chyna website and show your support during her time of grief. She has a guest book, a photo gallery, and lessons learned and I find this gesture so inspiring, that I will also do the same.

I don’t like to think of my Toby dog ever leaving me, but she is 12.5 and the time will come one day, when I too, must grieve, as she will leave one day, when it is her time.

I am inspired by Linda, to one day, have a public memory for Toby online as well and I hope others are inspired to do the same as well.

Dogs change lives for the better.

Thank You, Linda, and be well, in love and in light.
