It is so amazing to watch the natural instincts of some breeds as working dogs.
This is my friend Frodo, and he is only watching the alpacas from outside the fence. Frodo is really a breed specifically designed to herd cattle, not alpacas.
A true alpaca dog is a livestock guardian, and they are bred for a specific job and temperament, to defend and protect alpaca. I’ll be posting some livestock guardian dogs later.
